The City Boy Movement Women Wing, Benue State Chapter, has joined thousands of Benue women and residents to warmly welcome the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, during her visit to the state.
Following a mobilisation directive issued by the leadership of the movement, led by the Benue State Women Coordinator, Hon. Amb. Chief Mrs. Comfort Briggs Lokpobiri, JP, women leaders, coordinators, mobilisation officers, and members across the state turned out in large numbers to participate in the historic engagement.
The mobilisation was aimed at demonstrating support for the Renewed Hope Initiative, which focuses on empowering women, strengthening families, and improving the wellbeing of vulnerable groups across Nigeria.
Members of the City Boy Movement Women Wing displayed unity, discipline, and commitment as they joined other groups to receive Her Excellency and celebrate the impactful programmes of the Federal and Benue State Governments.
Speaking on the participation, the leadership of the movement expressed appreciation to all coordinators and members for their dedication, noting that the successful turnout reflects the strength of grassroots mobilisation and the commitment of Benue women towards development-focused initiatives.
The City Boy Movement Women Wing reaffirmed its commitment to supporting programmes that promote women empowerment, community development, and stronger engagement between government and citizens at the grassroots level.
