Irish authorities have deported 42 South African nationals—including men, women, and children—on a charter flight from Dublin to Johannesburg.
According to Irish officials, everyone on board was subject to valid deportation orders under Ireland’s immigration laws.
This follows an earlier deportation flight carried out this year, bringing the total number of South African nationals deported in the two charter operations to 105 in 2026.
The Irish government says the operation is part of its ongoing efforts to enforce immigration laws and ensure that individuals without legal permission to remain in the country are removed.
