For the first time since 28 years it was formed, the PDP has decided to wipe our tears by giving our dear son, father and leader, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Emmanuel Agbo the ticket to become the next Governor of Benue State.
This is the first time the PDP would be getting it right, and, with the help of the Senator who is also from Okpokwu LGA and other stakeholders, Idoma nation will speak with one voice, before 12 noon.
Dr. Agbo, a veteran politician, grassroots mobilizer and party administrator, hails from Ichama, Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.
A two-term State Chairman of PDP in Benue State, when Sen David Mark was the President of the Senate, Dr. Agbo was also the National Deputy Secretary of the once ruling party. He is currently the DG of PDP Governors’ Forum.
His nomination by the PDP will serve as a booster for the party in Idoma land, as the people see this as an opportunity to purge the confused APC out of power in Benue State, come 2027.
